Live 8: Canuck Live 8 lineup unveiled (try and imagine a bigger pile of crap)
CANOE -- JAM! Music - Artists - Live 8: Canuck Live 8 lineup unveiled

Wow, Blue Rodeo is still alive!
Celine Dion deigns to appear by satellite from Las Vegas!
Bryan Adams, who gives a flying f***?
Motley Crue? For Christ's sake.
Barenaked Ladies, of course.
Deep Purple? Got to have something for the accountants on their Harleys.

Make up your own jokes about the Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace and Sam Roberts.

The funniest part is they claim they had to whittle down 55 acts to 21 spots.

Saturn, Venus and Mercury will be forming a tight trio for the next two weeks. Eventually they will be within 5 degrees of each other, which the astronomical criteria for the term trio. Venus is dead center and brightest, Mercury is to its lower right, Saturn its upper left. At the top are Castor (right) and Pollux (left), the twins of Gemini. You'll need to look at the full-size picture to see them all.
