Marcel Dettmann - Berghain 02
Marcel Dettmann's Berghain 02 has been out a few weeks now, and it's getting very good reviews. Not surprising, I think it's pretty good too. It's strong, muscular techno and a good example of what European producers are up to these days. I happen to like the European style tracks (Tobias, Norman Nodge, Radio Slave) more than the Detroit ones (Pied Plat, Zephyr) but that's just me.

My May 2008 mix is now available for download. It begins with dubstep, then there's a little electro, followed by some techno, and it all wraps up with some housier grooves. Defying convention, it starts at a fast tempo and slows down throughout.
